Veterans Aid and Attendance Benefits

Age gracefully with our assistance.

The VA provides health care Aid and Attendance benefits for Veterans and their surviving spouses for services by providers in your local community outside of VA facilities.

Veterans and their surviving spouses may be eligible to receive care from a community provider when the VA cannot provide the care needed. This care is provided on behalf of and paid for by VA.

These supportive medical services are designed to help chronically ill or disabled eligible Veterans of any age remain in their home. These services are often referred to as Home Health / Home Care Services and are considered extended care services prescribed by and under the direction of a VA physician.

Community Care and In-Home Care services outside of VA, must be first authorized by VA before a Veteran can receive care from a community provider such as Hope Private Care.

Hope Private-In Home Care, LLC (Hope Private Care) is certified by the Community Care Administrators of the VA, to provide these In-Home Care services to eligible Veterans and their Surviving Spouses, throughout Metro Atlanta and the surrounding Counties (see our listing of Service Areas covered).
