In 2002, the director and founder of Hope Private In-Home Care served as a Registered Nurse in a Birmingham, Alabama hospital. She listened as families expressed their frustration that they wished they had other alternatives besides placing their loved ones in a nursing home facility. Before long, she resolved to establish a business that provides senior home care services in Snellville, Georgia and skilled nursing care for seniors who are not eligible to continue for hospitalization but are not quite ready to take care of themselves yet. Medical studies and research show that convalescence in a familiar, comforting environment can reduce stress, thereby speeding the recovery process.
